Dr Carin Killips

Dr. Carin Killips, a UK-trained Counselling Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and addiction, has been serving as Clinical Director at The Beekeeper House since April 2023. In this leadership role, she is responsible for driving the strategic development and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based clinical standards of care. Her work is guided by the principles of Clinical Governance to ensure an inclusive, compassionate and psychologically informed environment for both clients and staff.

Dr. Carin is a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

With a decade of experience as a Psychologist in the NHS and extensive expertise in therapeutic approaches such as Compassion-Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dr. Carin adopts a strengths-based approach to clinical care. Her practice is deeply rooted in humanistic and pluralistic values, fostering collaboration, compassion, hope, and humor to create a safe and recovery-focused environment for her clients.
